Art Nouveau Lilies

This Art Nouveau Lilies pattern is an exploration of opulence through balance, rhythm, and intricate detail. Elaborate Madonna and Clivia lilies unfold in rich burnt orange tones, framed by exaggerated, scrolling Art Nouveau leaves and swirling gold vines that move fluidly across alternating deep burgundy grounds. Fine gold contour lines trace each element, lending depth, luminosity, and a sense of ornamented restraint to the composition. While undeniably sumptuous, the design remains composed and intentional, with every curve and flourish carefully considered. Meticulously hand-drawn through multiple stages before its final form, this piece reflects a devotion to craftsmanship and a reverence for historic decorative traditions interpreted through a contemporary lens.

This Arts & Crafts–inspired Spider Mums pattern celebrates the beauty found in careful observation and layered detail. Scrolling spider mums in soft off-white and light taupe appear in multiple views, revealing textured petals, subtle highlights, and a sense of movement along the vine. Framing the blooms, scrolling acanthus leaves anchor the design in classic Arts & Crafts tradition, while tiny gold leaves introduce moments of brightness and lift. Set against a deep reddish-brown ground with a finely dotted red texture, the pattern feels rich, immersive, and tactile. It is this deliberate attention to detail, across flowers, foliage, and ground, that allows the design to truly sing.

Indian Floral Trailing Vine

This Indian floral trailing vine pattern balances refinement with a gentle sense of whimsy. Elaborate, imaginative flowers, hallmarks of traditional Indian florals, unfurl in warm, vibrant corals, accompanied by equally expressive leaves and gracefully coiling vines. A pair of small moths or butterflies drift through the composition, adding life and quiet movement against the soft cream background. Nearly twenty individual flowers were hand-drawn for this piece, with only the most harmonious selected for the final design, lending the pattern both richness and restraint. Also available in a cooler palette of pinks, deep rose, and slate blues, the design offers versatility while maintaining its intricate, storybook charm.

I am a surface pattern designer with a background in fine art, illustration, and design, supported by formal training in fashion design and user-centered design. Since 2007, I have created original pattern designs that begin as hand-drawn artwork and are thoughtfully translated into refined digital designs, bringing warmth, depth, and craftsmanship to the final work. Guided by an intuitive sense of color, composition, and scale, my patterns are especially well-suited for wallpaper and interiors, while remaining versatile across home goods and related product categories. I value close collaboration and listen carefully to my clients, ensuring each design aligns with the brand’s identity, the product, and the experience of the discerning end customer.
