A few of my hand-painted silks and fine art are uploaded again. A while back, while I was in design school, I was advised to take down my silks, as people may question whether I can possibly do so many things, and do them all well. YES, I CAN. My fine art is as much a part of my life as my design work, so I put my art back up. We are all such multi-faceted creatures, and we do not need to be hemmed into a box, nor should we be. If you would like to see some of the work that consumed my life for 10 lovely years and is still on-going, check out my hand-painted silks.
I entered my TrueGreen Investments identity package to Crescent Hill Books to be included in their book, THE BIG BOOK OF GREEN DESIGN, and they published my work, in a two-page spread! You can see the details of the project in my portfolio here (opens in new window).
FIDM, where I earned my AA degree, included me in their April newsletter featuring a few of their alumni. This was an exciting opportunity to feature my surface pattern design and Web design to over 20,000 alumni.
Enjoy, relax, have a cup of tea and take a look around!
